Toy maker recalling thousands of dumbbells

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A toy maker is recalling thousands of dumbbells due to a possible choking hazard.

Fisher-Price says the recall involves the plastic dumbbell toy sold with the baby biceps gift set. The company has received seven reports of the end coming off, creating a potential choking hazard. No injuries have been reported. The company says the other toys inside remain safe.

Fisher-Price is offering customers $10 for each toy and recommends that the dumbbell be destroyed. Proof of purchase is not required to receive a refund for the dumbbell.

The set was sold for about $18 at Walmart, Kohl’s, Fred Meyer, Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, TJMaxx, Buy Buy Baby and Target stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Zulily.com, Target.com and other websites from April 2020 through August 2024.
