It’s the end-of-summer festival that has been rocking Bakersfield for nearly 30 years, and it’s back in its classic venue, this time with an international flair. Village Fest takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Kern County Museum. The sprawling event is known for food, entertainment, adult beverages, and themes that change from year to year. For 2024 organizers decided to take inspiration for this year’s theme from the biggest spectacle of this summer.
