A Charleston-based public benefit corporation and health care company has added to its C-suite. Afaxys Inc., a first-of-its kind socially conscious health care company focused on serving public health professionals and their patients, has appointed Rita O’Connor to executive vice president, chief financial and operations officer, according to a news release.
