Now that The Best Stop Supermarket has established its wholesale business, it’s spawned a small problem. The calls from potential franchisees are constant. The popular specialty meats store one mile north of Interstate 10 in Scott with a distribution center that can produce 14,000 pounds of boudin a day now has four franchised locations and more coming. The first one outside of Louisiana opened in the Houston suburb of Katy, and two more could open in the area north of Houston with another four on the south side, including that will open soon in Baytown.
