Tim Tebow Picks Winner Of Georgia-Clemson Game In Week 1

The Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers are two programs with a lot of history. Georgia produced 1982 Heisman winner Herschel Walker and won three national titles in 1980, 2021, and 2022. Clemson won three titles in 1981, 2016, and 2018.

Tim Tebow had the opportunity to pick which of the two historic programs would win in Week 1 on “SEC Nation.” Tebow is a Heisman winner, taking home the honor in 2007 for the Florida Gators.

Tebow stayed loyal to the SEC and picked Georgia to beat Clemson in Atlanta. The last time that Georgia and Clemson played was in 2021. The Bulldogs ended up winning what was a defensive showdown 10-3.

After last season’s events, Georgia hopes to return to the College Football Playoff. The Bulldogs were left out of the playoff after losing the SEC Championship to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia finished the regular season undefeated.
