NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A trash fire Friday evening on Wellman Street in Norfolk blew smoke onto Interstate 264 but did not cause any injuries, Norfolk Fire-Rescue said. The fire was called in around 6:34 p.m. in the 100 block of Wellman Street, and Norfolk Fire-Rescue said its crews were able to keep it contained to the area where it started, and it did not advance any further.
