Taylor Sheridan, the creative mind behind the popular series “Yellowstone,” has stepped into a role akin to his show’s setting by purchasing a sprawling ranch.
Real estate insiders in Wyoming have confirmed that Sheridan secured a 179-acre property dubbed “Papa’s Creek Ranch” for $4.95 million.
The newly acquired ranch boasts dual trout streams and offers opportunities for waterfowl hunting, presenting a picturesque yet minimalistic landscape.
At this time, it remains uncertain whether Sheridan plans to reside at the ranch or utilize it as a filming location for upcoming projects.
Located 65 miles from the popular Jackson Hole, the remote ranch attracted Hollywood’s notice during its sale.
Notable actor Michael Keaton showed interest in the property this past summer, however, Sheridan ended up securing it through a limited liability company (LLC).
The listing was handled by brokers Matt MacMillan and Latham Jenkins, who declined to comment on the details of the buyer.
