Thunderstorms Expected in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, including counties such as Koochiching, St. Louis, Cook, and Lake in Minnesota, as well as Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, and others in Wisconsin. A few thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening, bringing the potential for isolated severe storms.

These storms could produce strong winds reaching up to 60 mph, posing risks to outdoor activities and travel in the area. Residents and visitors are advised to secure loose outdoor objects and remain indoors during any storm activity.

Additional Thunderstorm Chances Mid-Week

Further thunderstorm chances are anticipated on Wednesday afternoon and night, although severe storms are not expected at this time. The community is encouraged to stay weather-aware and be prepared for changing conditions.
