Sizzling Sunday keeps fire danger high – Matt

Sizzling start to September

Sunday is the hottest day we’ve had in a few weeks in the Inland Northwest.

The heat rolls on into Sunday, which will be the hottest temperatures we’ve had in a few weeks. Upper 90s and low 100s will keep fire danger high ahead of a cooler Labor Day that could get gusty and stormy in some areas.

What We’re Tracking

  • Cloudy Monday morning, maybe even a few sprinkles
  • Isolated thunderstorms Monday afternoon
  • Winds will pick up with gusts 15-20 mph
  • Fire danger stays elevated through the work week
