Pilot killed in plane crash south of McGrath

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Cary Foster, 58, Anchorage, was killed in a plane crash Saturday morning south of McGrath, Alaska State Troopers said. Wildlife Troopers were made aware of a plane crash 60 miles south of McGrath at about 9:51 a.m. Poor weather prevented troopers from making it to the crash site, AST said. A helicopter was later dispatched to the crash site where the pilot, and sole occupant, was found along with a Piper PA-18 Supercub.
