ONE social media user has shared a complaint in a post, showing proof that she was overcharged at a grocery store.
The user shared an image of her Safeway receipt, citing in her caption that she paid more than she expected for a purchase.
A recent Facebook post from a customer has brought attention to a potential overcharging issue at a Safeway store in San Jose, California.
Catherine Perez, who shopped at Safeway store #1483 on Hamilton Avenue and Meridian, claimed that she was overcharged for several sale items during her recent visit.
Perez detailed her experience in a post, stating that out of her $96 receipt, she identified seven items for which she was charged incorrectly, totaling an overcharge of $14.
She noted a lack of response from the store clerk, who identified himself as the manager, stating there was “absolutely no remorse, no apologies, nothing.”
