Sweet Potato Festival comes back to Livingston

LIVINGSTON, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – City of Livingston officials are inviting all sweet potato enthusiasts to join them and celebrate the upcoming Sweet Potato Festival.

Organizers say the event will include a midway of fun carnival, live bands, entertainment, MADCAP Car Show, Lucha Libre, a kid zone, a sweet potato pie eating contest, a dress your tater, art exhibits, a food court, a mercantile marketplace, a culinary exhibit and more. Numerous activities will geared towards sweet potatoes.

Additionally, they say every food vendor will have a sweet potato specialty item.

The Sweet Potato Harvest will be held on Sept. 27, 28, and 29 at the Max Foster Sports Complex at 2600 Walnut Avenue in Livingston. There is a $1 entry fee. For more information, visit the event’s webpage.
