Buona Beef and Rainbow Cone announce September opening date

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Famous Chicago eateries Buona Beef and The Original Rainbow Cone have announced a Grand Opening for their new Loves Park locations.

The restaurants, located at 7350 E. Riverside Blvd, near Blain’s Farm and Fleet, will be hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, September 17th at 10 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 10:30 a.m.

Rainbow Cone started in Chicago in 1926, and became notable for an ice cream twist of the flavors chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House, pistachio, and orange sherbert in a single cone.

Buona Beef started in Berwyn in 1981 and calls itself “Chicago’s Original Italian Beef.”
