Powerball jackpot in Ohio sits unclaimed

(WJW) – It’s been two months since someone in Ohio hit a Powerball jackpot worth $139.3 million, but no one has stepped forward to claim the prize.

The lucky ticket was purchased at a Walmart store in Huber Heights. According to lottery officials, a single ticket won the massive amount of cash after purchasing the ticket that matched all six numbers in the July 3 drawing.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 02, 26, 33, 55, 57 and red Powerball 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

Ohio lottery officials said the winner has 180 days to claim the prize. So there’s still time.

According to the Powerball website, another jackpot prize won on May 6 in Florida has also not yet been claimed.

The ticket holder in Ohio will be able to choose an annuitized prize of $139.3 million or a lump sum payment of $66.5 million. Both options are before taxes.
