The Florida Highway Patrol has released more information on a deadly crash along the Turnpike this morning.
The agency says a 17-year old boy jumped from the Hypoluxo Road overpass and landed on the hood of a box truck. He died at the scene.
The incident had all southbound lanes shut down for hours, reopening just before 10:30 a.m.
Nobody else was injured except for the teen who jumped.
