Texas-based gas station chain Buc-ee’s is expanding into Arkansas with plans to open its first store in the state.
The new Buc-ee’s location will be in Benton, situated along Interstate 30, southeast of Little Rock. The company has been working on the plans for over a year. The announcement was made during a high school football game in Arkansas, featuring a video message from the state’s governor.
Benton’s mayor expressed pride in the town’s selection by Buc-ee’s, noting that construction on the new store will commence once the final permit is approved.
