MSP ‘dismantles’ unlawful driving events in the area

Over the weekend, the Maryland Car Rally Task Force collaborated with the Maryland State Police Special Operations Division, the Baltimore Regional Auto Theft Task Force and allied police agencies to disrupt 11 unlawful exhibition driving events throughout Baltimore and in Prince George’s and Anne Arundel counties, MSP officials said.

Law enforcement officials responded to several locations — one of which was in White Marsh — where up to 200 participants assembled in parking lots attempting to shut down intersections throughout the region, state authorities said.

Police responded to the following locations at the estimated times on the night of Aug. 31 and morning of Sept. 1:

10:40 p.m.: 5710 A Wabash Ave., Baltimore11:10 p.m.: 2880-2894 Rolling Road, Windsor Mill11:49 p.m.: 3030 Liberty Heights Ave., Baltimore12:07 a.m.: 1801 Washington Blvd., Baltimore12:40 a.m.: N Eutaw at W. North Ave., Baltimore12:34 a.m.: I-195 Park and Ride, Catonsville1:40 a.m.: 7900 Governor Ritchie Hwy., Glen Burnie2:22 a.m.: 12705 Laurel-Bowie Road, Laurel3:25 a.m.: Konterra Drive and Sweitzer Lane, Laurel3:30 a.m.: I-95 at Ebenezer Road/Philadelphia Road, White Marsh4:00 a.m.: 812A Oregon Ave., Linthicum Heights
