Britton District crews repave road after drivers say work left railroad crossing worse than before

OKLAHOMA CITY – Drivers in the Britton District said construction at an intersection left the roads worse than they were before, and workers are now trying to fix the issue. After crews paved the way for drivers to cross the railroad tracks at Britton Road and Western Avenue over the weekend, they were back to repaving them on Tuesday. While construction keeps popping up in the area, some drivers said they are happy that the work is being redone because of the damage it caused after it initially reopened.
