Victim was trying to sell firearm when he and girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint, MPD says

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A robbery victim and his girlfriend found a handgun pointed at them when he met someone with the intention of selling a firearm, according to police. The Mobile Police Department said it was just after 5 p.m. Friday when officers responded to the 2400 block of San Souci Road after receiving a robbery report. The officers learned the victim met a known male subject, with the intention of selling a firearm, when the subject pointed a handgun at the victim and his girlfriend and demanded the firearm, the MPD said.
