(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Valley and other parts of California are expected to endure triple-digit temperatures this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Sacramento Valley, Delta and Foothills from 11 a.m. Wednesday to 8 p.m. Friday.
Cities and counties in the Sacramento area shared a number of locations that will open cooling centers for those who want to beat the heat.

•Sam and Bonnie Pannell Center: 2450 Meadowview Road; Sept. 4 to Sept. 6, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Elk Grove
