ZooTampa’s ‘Creatures of the Night’ returns September 27

TAMPA, Fla. (BLOOM) – Get ready, Tampa Bay! ZooTampa is rolling out the spooktacular red carpet for its much-anticipated annual event, Creatures of the Night, and this year promises an eerie mix of family-friendly fun with an extraterrestrial twist. Beginning September 27, the zoo will transform into a haunted wonderland for 13 select nights, packed with creepy characters, thrilling shows, and deliciously eerie treats.

The highlight of this year’s event? A brand-new sci-fi adventure featuring the Testudians—aliens disguised as reptiles who have been secretly spying on Earth for centuries. Guests will join forces with the Taskforce for Alien Protection in the interactive “They Are Here” Alien Haunted Trail to help stop these extraterrestrial invaders before they can transmit crucial information back to their home planet.

But the otherworldly fun doesn’t stop there! For those who prefer a touch of whimsy with their Halloween spooks, the Merry Old Land of Oz offers a magical experience for the littlest ghouls and goblins. Step into the world of Dorothy and her friends, or face off against the Wicked Witch of the West in an adventure straight out of a storybook.
