SALINA, N.Y. – The NYS Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to a traffic alert on I-81 southbound beginning Tuesday, September 3. I-81 southbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 27-26 (Mattydale Syracuse Airport) and the on-ramp to Interstate 81 southbound from the service road in the Town of Salina from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Thursday, September 5, to facilitate a bridge deck demolition.
