Birmingham Black Barons pitcher celebrates 100th birthday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – William H. Greason has lived many lives. He was one of the first African Americans to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. He played for the Birmingham Black Barons alongside Willie Mays, and preached the word of God for more than 50 years. On Tuesday, Sept. 3, the living legend turned 100-years-old.
