A woman has been sentenced for a 2018 murder near downtown Boise. Kimberly Swa, 42, will serve up to life in prison for killing David Vargas in his apartment in April 2018. Swa must serve 27 years of her sentence before she is eligible for parole, according to a news release from the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office.
