TUOLUMNE COUNTY, Calif. – Deputies are investigating whether human remains found in Stanislaus River Canyon could be connected to a pair of missing men. The remains were called in around 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 29 by a dirt biker near Keltz Mine Road. Deputies responded and tried to hike into the area, but they had to turn back due to darkness and steep terrain.
