BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham is the first city in the South thatUrban Alchemy is expanding to in the hopes of helping those experiencing homelessness. The city is partnering with Urban Alchemy to launch the HEART program. It’s not scheduled to kick off until next year, but business owners said they hope it helps with fixing a nuisance their unhoused neighbors are causing.
