Historical Rockford buildings to be renovated for community use

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A local non-profit received $50,000 in state funding to rejuvenate and ultimately expand its campus for the Rockford community. The Heritage Museum Park, located at 1129 S Main Street, will soon feature a new exhibit and community meeting space inside a restored barn, carriage and stable space. The campus currently features the Grahm-Ginestra House, Rockford’s first commissioned historic landmark, and the Ethnic Heritage Museum.
