BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A 40-year-old man was charged after allegedly having a destructive device in 2022. The Department of Justice said on August 29, 2024, a federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment charging 40-year-old Robert Lawrence Hunt of Bakersfield, with being a felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm, and manufacturing a firearm.
