WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Drivers should expect delays or plan alternate routes through Winston-Salem after a crash.
According to Winston-Salem Police Department, officers are at the scene of a crash on US 421 at Peters Creek Parkway on Thursday morning. The crash reportedly involves at least two cares and utility lines are blocking the road.
No major injuries have been reported, police say, but northbound traffic is being redirected off of US 421 before the Peters Creek Parkway exit. Southbound traffic is being directed onto the Cloverdale Road exit.
This closure and delay will last “an extended period of time” according to police.
