GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Weatherspoon Art Museum has reopened. We spoke with a curator on The Local Vibe to learn more, above. The museum is free and open to all. It’s not open since remodeling on Aug. 13. All galleries will be on view with three exhibitions on Saturday, Sept. 14. The upgrades come thanks to a grant from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, as well as state funding earmarked for infrastructure projects. There is new lighting, gallery reconfigurations, and new paint.
