The Paralympics wrap up this weekend, coming to a close Sunday, Sept. 8, in Paris.
Like in the Summer Olympics, Colorado has been well represented on the Paralympic stage, including five medal winners as of Sept. 4.
Here’s how all 11 Colorado Paralympic athletes have fared in the 2024 Paris games.
Para triathlon
Hailey Danz
The Colorado Springs resident has been elite for nearly a decade and now she finally has a gold medal after consecutive silver-medal Paralympic finishes.
Danz used a dominant effort on the bike to win the women’s paratriathlon PTS2 in 1 hour, 14 minutes and 31 seconds.
Allysa Seely
Seely was a two-time reigning Paralympic gold medalist and took bronze this time. Despite some early struggles, the Colorado Springs resident had the fastest time in the final running portion to still leave with a medal in the women’s PTS2.
Melissa Stockwell
The Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient narrowly missed out on medaling in her fourth career Paralympics, placing fifth in the women’s PTS2 event with a finish of 1:21:06.
