Virginia Beach SPCA celebrates completion of months-long renovation

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Virginia Beach SPCA held a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Wednesday morning to celebrate the completion of a months-long major renovation and expansion project.

The ceremony began at 10:30 a.m.

Speakers at the event included Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer, Virginia Beach SPCA CEO Derby Brackett, and VBSPCA Medical Director Dr. Ann Marie Woyma.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, the Virginia Beach SPCA posted to social media, “Our expanded and renovated Clinic is the result of years of planning and would not have been possible without support from PetSmart Charities and the greater community. We look forward to providing full-service and low-cost veterinary care to even more pets and continue supporting our local sheltering partners.”
