STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Authorities say it was just after 7 a.m. on a Tuesday, when a 62-year-old stick-up artist on Staten Island reverted back to his old ways. The defendant, Roy Hill of Clifton, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 in state Supreme Court, St. George, to second-degree attempted robbery in connection with the Nov. 29, 2022, incident.
