Local musician’s new album played key role in his recovery from addiction

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio ( WCMH ) – New music just released by a central Ohio musician played a key note in his recovery journey.

Josh Krajcik’s new ablum is titled, “EPIPHANIAC.”

“I made that word up. But it was like constant epiphanies about my own self,” he said. “And I’ve become a better person through making this record. That process of becoming a better person and healing is now placed in the sonics.”

The musician was deep in a battle with an alcohol addiction before creating this album. He said the damage it caused to his body almost took his life, and he went to the hospital for help. On the day he left the hospital in 2019, he started working on the album.

“I had sort of come to that wall. That experience of almost losing my life and the spookiness that is, and it’s difficult to describe, was honestly and I didn’t know at the time I just started writing was the inspiration for the record,” Krajcik said.
