CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – A Charleston-area Marine will be posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal during a gala next month. The National Montford Point Marine Association Chapter 47 will present the award to the family ofMontford Point Marine, Alonzo Harold Rouse during the event scheduled for Oct. 26 .
