Her 1988 debut Forever Your Girl sold 7 million copies and spawned four No. 1 hits, including “Straight Up.” Now 62, the “Cold Hearted” singer was preparing to embark on her Straight Up! To Canada Tour this month. Unfortunately for her fans in the Great White North, Abdul is scrapping that tour as she contends with some health issues.

In a post to X/Twitter Wednesday (Sept. 4,) Paula Abdul gave fans the disappointing news. The “Vibeology” singer has canceled all upcoming Canada shows, along with other dates in North Dakota and Alaska.

The former longtime American Idol judge has been receiving “targeted injections” to assist in healing from recent injuries. While the procedure does provide temporary relief, “the demands of an entire tour is a different story,” Abdul wrote.
