Two Wichita 18-year-olds were arrested Wednesday in separate traffic stops after police looked for them in connection with a shooting that wounded two young men in the Old Town parking garage late Sunday.
At least 20 rounds were fired during the shooting, according to a police report.
The 18-year-olds remained jailed Thursday.
One was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle and obstruction. He was also arrested in what appears to be an unrelated case of criminal carrying of a weapon.
He was arrested near Sims and Central, records show.
The other was arrested at Friends University, where he lives, records show. He was arrested on suspicion of criminal discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of stolen property.
Police said the two were arrested in almost simultaneous traffic stops.
The two victims from Wellington were sitting in the parking garage in a 2007 red Ford pickup when the shooting happened around 11:55 p.m.
