Looking for affordable housing in Stanislaus County? How to apply for low-income apartments

Stanislaus County residents now have access to 60 additional low-income apartments at the Avena Bella complex in southwest Turlock, according to a news release from EAH Housing.

EAH Housing, a nonprofit housing development organization, announced the completion of Avena Bella II in Turlock.

It’s the final phase of the Avena Bella development .

The new development features 61 apartments, with several amenities including a fitness center, on-site laundry facilities and computer learning centers, according to EAH Housing.

“Like many other cities in California, Turlock is facing a significant housing crisis,” California State Assembly member Juan Alanis said in the release. “We’re excited to bring affordable housing to Turlock’s low-income residents through Avena Bella II, but we know there’s more to be done to meet the growing demand.”

This partnership between EAH Housing and the city of Turlock will help the community “maintain its strong commitment to providing affordable housing,” said Alanis, who represents District 22.
