Crews knock down house fire in NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a house fire Friday morning.

According to OKCFD, firefighters arrived at a home near NW 23rd St. and Tulsa Ave. around 3 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews found flames coming from the house. They were able to knock the fire down quickly, but one person was taken to a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
