Arizona 5th Congressional District election: Where Katrina Schaffner stands on issues

The Arizona Republic sent a brief questionnaire before the primary election to all the candidates in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, which covers parts of Maricopa and Pinal counties, including parts of Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek and Apache Junction.

They were asked about their positions on a variety of issues.

Incumbent Republican Andy Biggs and Democrat Katrina Schaffner secured their parties’ nominations unopposed.

They will face off in the Nov. 5 election.

Schaffner responded to The Republic’s survey, but Biggs has yet to respond. His answers will be included if received.
