Fewer downpours develop this afternoon

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Another steamy day with highs in the low 90s and heat index values 105+ in the afternoon.

Overall, the rain chance is lower today than the past few days. We have a 40% chance of afternoon and early evening downpours. The rain that develops drifts east of I-75, so it stays a bit drier near the coast.
