Fort Collins Man Cops Plea In Shooting

A guilty plea in connection with a Fort Collins shooting last year that stemmed from an argument. 38 year old Travis Turner pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder, plus two counts of violent crime with the use of a weapon. The shooting happened on Lathrop Court in southwest Fort Collins the night of March 10, 2023. A man had called 911 to report that he had been with a group of people in a home when an argument broke out, and a man shot him. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Turner could face between 10 and 28 years behind bars when sentenced next month.
