Controversies that could affect Mayor Tim Keller’s run for third term

Keller confirmed his run for a third term in 2025 and also addressed issues plaguing the city of Albuquerque from homelessness to public safety, as well as, Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina’s crash in February 2024. While the mayor has faced controversies under his administration involving the Albuquerque Police Department, on Friday, Sept. 6, KOAT political expert, Brian Sanderoff, states there is one that could potentially hurt his campaign.
