Woman arrested for stabbing two people, trying to stab another in Spokane Friday afternoon

SPOKANE, Wash. — UPDATE, September 6, 4:10 p.m.

A woman was arrested for stabbing a man and trying to stab others in Spokane Friday afternoon.

31-year-old Trischa R. Maravilla was arrested and booked into jail for three counts of assault.

According to police, officers saw Maravilla assaulting people with a knife on North Division Street. The officer watched Maravilla stab one victim and try to stab another before being detained.

SPD said they located another stabbing victim and both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A person was injured in a reported stabbing in Spokane Friday.

Spokane Police responded to the area of N. Division Street near Indiana Avenue for a stabbing around noon.

One person was seen being loaded onto a gurney.

No suspect information has been released.

SPD says they will provide more information at a later time.
