SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane will provide cooling resources for residents due to extreme heat and Heat Advisories in the forecast. By the Spokane Municipal Code, the city is required to provide resources when the temperature is expected to reach 95 degrees or above for at least 2 consecutive days. This weekend, Friday and Saturday are forecasted with highs of 95 and 96 respectively.
