Boonville, N.Y. – A 77-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted Friday to a Syracuse hospital after crashing into a guardrail in Oneida County, sheriff’s deputies said. Richard Matthis, of Wyoming, was riding a Harley Davidson around 9:25 a.m. on state Route 46 near Pixley Falls State Park in Boonville when he drove off the road while making a turn, deputies said.
