The father of Georgia school shooting suspect Colt Gray has revealed that his son was reportedly “bullied for being gay”.
Colin Gray, 54, shared with investigators that his son faced constant ridicule at schoo l, stating: “It was very difficult for him to go to school and not get picked on”.
He further added: “It went from one thing to another… I was trying to get him on the golf team… [they were like], “Oh, look, Colt’s gay. He’s dating that guy.”

14-year-old Colt Gray made his first court appearance on Friday morning, charged as an adult in the deaths of fellow students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and teachers Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53.
Nine others were also injured in Wednesday’s attack at Appalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. Colin Gray, the father of the suspect, was also arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
