Dig out the sweaters and start sipping some pumpkin spice as fall is starting to make a return in the Ozarks. This weekend will be a lovely transition away from summertime highs.
Temperatures for both today and tomorrow are expected to remain trapped in the 70s. That will be coming with sunny skies and a light breeze out of the north.
The bigger story is not the highs, but rather the chilly overnight lows. Temperatures tonight will dip out of the 50s and into the lower 40s. We have not experienced weather that cold since April 24.
Another nice day will be coming our way Sunday. Enjoy the cooler weather because we will be warming back up at the start of the work week.
Highs will return to the seasonal average for Monday with temps that will challenge the 90-degree mark by Wednesday.
Rain chances this week are unfortunately looking slim to none. Our best chance of wet weather won’t be until Thursday, but even that is looking unlikely.
