BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. – The annual Ava Wood Memorial Soccer Tournament took place on Friday evening where multiple soccer teams will battle against one another. The tournament is in honor of Ava Wood, a ninth-grade student at Durgee Jr. High School who lived in Baldwinsville who law enforcement said was killed by her fatherChristopher Wood in an apparent murder-suicide Friday morning in her home in the Village of Baldwinsville.
