The city of Janesville’s top official says the city could have controlling ownership of the 240-acre former General Motors and Jatco sites sometime early in 2025. City manager Kevin Lahner tells Big Radio the city is now moving into negotiations in its bid to buy the two vacant, former industrial sites, which the city moved to condemn earlier this year.
